Some very early CalOffroad LC200 UCA version 1 may have been fitted with a Road Safe ball joint which has been voluntarily recalled.
Roadsafe has implemented effective immediately, a voluntary recall on the Roadsafe Front Upper Ball Joints with Part Number BJ3841HD – G17 to H19 batches. Products affected are those with batch codes 3841HD-G17K to 3841HD-H19K inclusive and were sold from July 2017 to August 2019.
A copy of the voluntary recall notice will be posted to www.productsafety.gov.au, and is also available to view on the Roadsafe website, www.roadsafe.com.au.
BAM Garage is attempting to contact all its impacted customers in relation to the recall. Roadsafe will provide stock of new ball joints to replace units in the field at no charge. CalOffroad will be covering the cost of labour to remove & replace the affected ball joints only.
This ball joint recall has no effect on the CalOffroad arms in version 1 or 2.
